In order to set the B-24 flight photo as your desktop wallpaper, click on the link below with your RIGHT mouse button, and from the context menu that pops up, select "Save Target As" and then pick a location on your computer to store the file. The name of it is "B24_456.bmp". This is a 1.4MB file so may take a while to download, especially with a dial-up modem.
Now you want to go to your desktop and then right click anywhere on the desktop where it is blank, and select "properties". Under the "background" tab use the "browse" button and navigate to the file just downloaded, and select it. Now use the drop down box to select "stretch" for "picture display" and click the button marked "apply". Now you can close the dialog box and on your desktop should be a view of a 456th Liberator outlined against the clouds. Use the "back" button below when done.
