• To provide an organization wherein the veterans of the 456th Bomb Group (h) of the World War II time period may continue to readily and more easily associate, communicate and enjoy each other's friendship;
• To preserve for future generations the history and human meaning of the 456th Bomb Group (h) from the World War II  time period;
• To insure that the sacrifices of the valiant men and women of the 456th Bomb Group (h) of the World War II time period are not forgotten.

This shall be accomplished by two methods: the establishment and maintenance of an organization that allows the veterans connected with the 456th Bomb Group (h) to enjoy the friendship and companionship of their comrades at various functions; and by insuring that the descendants and associates of these veterans are aware of and will preserve and disseminate the history of the 456th Bomb Group (h).
