This is a photo of a memorial in Most, Czech Republic, dedicated to the 456th Bomb Group airmen that were killed on 21 July 1944 on the mission to Brux that day. Two aircraft, a B-24G named "Porky" (42-78306), and a B-24H named "Judy Ann" (42-640501), collided in the sky over Teplice, Czechoslovakia. There were only four survivors. The story of this event can be read in the Stories section under Teplice. This photo comes from Edward Benes of the Czech Republic.

The memorial plaque placed in Memorial Park at the United States Air Force Museum, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This plaque is similar to the one at the Academy. See it also at this link to the virtual memorial park of the USAF.

The Mission 207 memorial painting was donated to the 456th Bomb Group Association in 2001. It was dedicated at the 2004 reunion at March Field, where it will hang on permanent display in the March Field Museum. Read more about it here.
Jerry Lind, brother of Robert Lind who was killed on mission 207, dedicated his painting in honor of his brother. The painting, depicting the last flight of 568 in "Mission 207," will be displayed at the March Field Museum.
