Well, this is not actually from Stornara... but it was on the way. This is a photo of an original crew taken in Havana at Sloppy Joe's bar. The names, listed on the paper shown below: (1) Pilot L.D. Whittaker, (2) Carl Sutter, assistant engineer, (3) Ernie Phillips, co-pilot, (4) Warren Klein, right waist gunner, radioman, (5) James A. Riley, radioman, (6) Charles Randall, arm gunner, left waist gunner, (7) Archie Hyslop, ball turret gunner, (8) Paul Edlund, bombardier, armament officer, (9) Eugene Duncan, engineer, Martin turret gunner, (10) Jack Wark, navigator.

The following sequence of photos are not from Stornara either, but every bit a part of the memories of those that had lived there and come home...

Crew 13, 745th Squadron, on the boat home back to the states in Sept. 1944. Standing left to right are: Lt. Bob Millette, Sgt. Joe Niess, and Lt. Paul Marler.
